How to Modify the Directory Configuration File

Perform the following steps to modify the directory configuration file.

Note: Steps that are required are noted accordingly.

1. Limit the size of search results.
2. Modify the default user, organization, or group managed objects.
3. Change the default attribute descriptions.
4. Modify well-known attributes. (required)

   Well-known attributes identify special attributes, such as the password attribute, in CA IdentityMinder.

5. Configure CA IdentityMinder for your directory structure (required).
6. Enable users to subscribe to groups.
