Modify the Directory Configuration File
Perform the following procedure to modify the directory configuration file.
Follow these steps:
- Configure a connection to the database.
- Specify the amount of time that CA IdentityMinder searches a directory before terminating the search.
- Define the user and group managed objects that CA IdentityMinder manages.
- Modify well-known attributes.
Well-known attributes identify special attributes, such as the password attribute, in CA IdentityMinder.
- Configure support for self-subscribing groups.
- If your environment includes organizations, configure organization support.
