Migration on a WebSphere Cluster

Perform the following steps to migrate CA IdentityMinder on a cluster to the new version of WebSphere:

Step

 

1. Uninstall the CA Identity Manager Server.

 

2. Configure a cluster for the new version of WebSphere.

 

3. Run the installation from the Deployment Manager.

 

4. Add cluster members.

 

5. Migrate Task Persistence data (if upgrading from r12).

 

6. Update the workflow database (if upgrading from r12).

 

7. Configure workflow for cluster members.

 

8. Configure the proxy plug-in.
