BusinessObjects XI 3.x Post-Installation Step
If you run report tasks and receive a "Server Input% not found or server may be down" error message, perform this procedure.
Follow these steps:
- Log in to the Central Management Console using the username and password you entered during the Report Server installation.
- Under the main dashboard, select Servers.
- Under the Server Name column, search for Input File Repository server and double-click the name.
- In the Server Name text box, enter the following:
Input.report_server_hostname.InputFileRepository
- Click Save.
- Under the Server Name column, search for Output File Repository server and double-click the name.
- In the Server Name text box, enter the following:
Output.report_server_hostname.OutputFileRepository
- Click Save.
- Restart all the servers by selecting the servers in the Server List.
