CA Enterprise Log Manager Agent Installation Prerequisites

Complete the following steps before installing the CA UAR Agent:

Make sure the CA UAR Server machine is reachable from the machine running CA IdentityMinder or hosting the CA IdentityMinder auditing database.
Verify that the agent machine is reachable from the server machine.
Configure the data source on the agent machine.
Verify that Adobe Flash Player is version 9.0.28 or higher. You can download the player from here:
http://www.adobe.com/go/getflash
Download agent binaries.
Get an agent authentication key.
Make the server name/IP readily accessible.
Make account information readily accessible, but do not jeopardize security. The agent uses this account when it runs as a service (Windows).
If the connector exists, export default connector information and have it readily available.
Verify that the machine has 4 GB of RAM.
