Configure the CA UAR Server
Before you can configure the CA UAR Server to manage, verify the following requirements:
- You must have EiamAdmin credentials.
- You must have Adobe Flash Play version 9.0.28 or higher.
After the CA UAR server is configured, the following functionality is available:
- A single CA UAR server or federated hierarchy can consume multiple environments producing auditing events.
- Data authorization for remote systems can be implemented through the CA UAR Data Access Filter.
Follow these steps:
- Log in to the CA UAR server product registration page with Administrator credentials using the following URL:
https://host:port/spin/calmapi/products.csp
- Register a CA IdentityMinder environment by clicking the Register button and supplying your certificate name and password.
Note: Each environment must have separate registration (certificate name/password) pairs.
- Navigate to Administration, User and Access Management, New Data Access Filter and provide a name for the filter.
- Proceed to the next step.
- Leave Selected Identities at "All Identities" and proceed to the next step.
- Create an access filter by clicking New Event Filter.
Configure the Data Access Filter by restricting the certificate that is created to machine or environment name only for logs that are collected from CA IdentityMinder. You can also restrict the certificate to access native endpoint information for managed endpoints only.
- Save and close.
- Open Access Policies by clicking Open Access Policies.
- Select Obligation Policies and click the single policy available.
- Remove the "All Identities" and add the certificate name.
- Save the policy.
- Log into the CA IdentityMinder User Console and configure the Enterprise Log Management Connection.
