Enable Password Synchronization

The Provisioning Server allows password synchronization between CA IdentityMinder users and associated endpoint user accounts. In other words, when a user who has provisioning roles is created or modified in CA IdentityMinder, the provisioning user gets set to allow password changes from endpoint accounts.

Note: When you enable this feature in the Management Console, all users in the environment gets set to allow password changes from endpoint accounts.

Follow these steps:

1. In the Management Console, choose Advanced Settings, Provisioning.
2. Check Enable Password Changes from Endpoint Accounts.
3. Click Save.
4. Restart the Application Server.
