CA IdentityMinder Directories

A CA IdentityMinder directory describes how objects, such as users, groups, and (optionally) organizations are stored in the user store and how they are represented in CA IdentityMinder. A CA IdentityMinder directory is associated with one or more CA IdentityMinder environments.

The following illustration shows how a CA IdentityMinder directory relates to a user store:

Note: Some user attributes in the database are not part of the CA IdentityMinder directory. Therefore, CA IdentityMinder does not manage them.
