Internet Explorer 11 with Windows 8: Default Security Options May Affect Display

Symptom:

The default security settings in Internet Explorer 11 browsers may cause issues with search screens that are displayed as pop-up windows in CA Identity Governance.

Note: This is a known issue with the import connector feature.

Solution:

  1. Open Tools, Internet options from an Internet Explorer 11 browser.
  2. Select the Security tab.
  3. In the Select a zone to view changes or change security settings view, select the Local intranet, then select Sites, Advanced.

    A Local intranet window opens.

  4. In the Add this website to the zone field, type the domain name, and click Add.

    Example: *.ca.com

  5. In the Add this website to the zone field, type the host name and click Add.

    Example: http://hostname.domainname:port/eurekify/*

The host name appears in the Websites list.

  6. Click Close and OK.

The Internet Options window, Security tab is displayed.

  7. Select Custom level.

    A Settings window opens.

  8. Under Scripting, Active scripting, select Enable, and click OK.
  9. Restart the browser for changes to take effect.

You can view pop-up search screens correctly.
