Verify the Upgrade

When you have completed all upgrade procedures, check that the upgrade was successful.

To verify the upgrade

1. Start the application server.
2. Start the Management Console as follows:

   http://im_server_host_name:port/iam/immanage
   

   host_name

   Defines the fully-qualified host name for the server where CA Identity Manager is installed

   port

   Defines the application server port.

3. Verify that you can access an upgraded environment using this URL format:

   http://im_server:port/iam/im/environment

   1. Verify that you are prompted for the appropriate credentials.
   2. Log in using the account with the System Manager role.
   3. Verify the correct roles are assigned to this account.
4. If these steps succeeded, start any extra Policy Servers and CA Identity Manager nodes that you stopped.

   Note: If you still need to make changes to a CA Identity Manager environment, skip this step until you are done.
