How to Create an ODBC Data Source For Use with CA SiteMinder®

If CA Identity Manager integrates with CA SiteMinder®, define an ODBC data source on the CA SiteMinder® machine that points to the database. Note the name of the data source for later use. Proceed as follows:

• Windows: Configure the ODBC data source as a System DN. See your Windows operating system documentation for instructions.
• UNIX: Add an entry specifying the parameters for the ODBC data source in the system_odbc.ini file located in policy_server_installation/db.
