Verify the CA Identity Manager Server Installation
To start CA Identity Manager, you use the run.bat/sh file on JBoss 5.x, or the standalone.bat/sh file on JBoss 6.1 EAP. This file is located in the bin directory where JBoss is installed.
Follow these steps:
- Start the CA Identity Manager server used databases.
- Start the CA Identity Manager Server as follows:
- Windows: Go to Start, Programs, CA, Identity Manager, Start Identity Manager Server.
- UNIX: Enter the following command from the jboss_home/bin directory:
./run.sh
- Wait until you see that the server has started. This message appears in a console window:
DATE+TIME INFO [com.sun.jersey.server.impl.application.WebApplicationImpl]
(main) Initiating Jersey application, version 'Jersey: 1.1.5.1 DATE+TIME'
- Access the Management Console and confirm the following points:
- Verify that you can access an upgraded environment using this URL format:
http://im_server:port/iam/im/environment
