A universe is a view into a management workspace that lets CA Identity Governance administrators manage entities such as users, roles, and resources collected from endpoints. Entity data is stored in configuration files. A universe contains a pair of master-model configurations, enabling the tracking of differences between the real-world configuration imported from the system (master) and the desired configuration generated (model).
