CA UAR Functionality

When CA User Activity Reporting (CA UAR) integrates with CA Identity Manager, you get the following functionality:

• The CA UAR Agent collects CA Identity Manager auditing information and converts it into CA Common Event Grammar (CEG).
• The User Console can retrieve CA UAR reports and queries with CA Identity Manager context information used to filter the information returned.
• CA Identity Manager is shipped with a number of default reports, and infrastructure for adding CA UAR reports and queries to an existing or new task.

Note: Previously, CA UAR was called CA Enterprise Log Manager. In some cases in the User Console, the CA Enterprise Log Manager name is still used.
