Plan Your Implementation

Depending on your business needs, you may want to use some or all of the features of CA Identity Suite. The product contains the following components:

• CA IdentityMinder
• CA GovernanceMinder
• CA Identity Portal

To use the identity management and governance features, and the portal interface, implement all components.

Follow these steps:

1. Install CA IdentityMinder.

   For more information about implementing CA IdentityMinder, see the CA IdentityMinder Implementation and Installation Guides.

2. Install CA GovernanceMinder.

   For more information about implementing CA GovernanceMinder, see the CA GovernanceMinder Implementation and Installation Guides.

3. Install CA Identity Portal.

   For more information about installing CA Identity Portal, see the CA Identity Portal Installation Guide.

To use the identity management features and the portal interface only, implement CA IdentityMinder and CA Identity Portal only. Select this option if you do not need to perform compliance or segregation of duties checks.
