When CA Identity Manager displays suggested provisioning roles, each role has a score, which indicates how well the suggested role meets the specified criteria. Higher scores indicate a better role match for the user receiving the provisioning roles.
Suggested role scores range from 0% to 100%, with 100% indicating the best match. CA RCM generates the scores when it evaluates the criteria for suggested roles. Ranges of scores are associated with one of the following match levels:
You can configure the scores that correspond to each match level to best suit your business needs. For example, you can specify that a score of 90 or above has an Excellent match level.
Depending on how the Provisioning Roles search screen is configured, CA Identity Manager may display one or more columns with role scores. In cases where there are multiple suggestion criteria, CA Identity Manager can display a score for each criterion, and then display the Role Score, which indicates the highest score that the provisioning role received across all the criteria.
Note: A configuration option, which is available when you configure suggested roles functionality , determines the display of result columns.
