Create a Profile for an Existing User

You can modify a PKI account to create a profile for an existing user.

To create the profile

  1. Select the Account Properties tab on the PKI Account Property Sheet.

    The Account Properties tab appears.

  2. Check the Create profile check box to force the creation of an Entrust user's profile and then fill in the following fields:
    1. Select the type of profile to create from the drop-down menu.
    2. Enter and confirm the password for the account.
    3. Enter the full path of the Entrust profile to be created.

      Note: The name of the profile file including the full path must be provided. Use the Browse Location button to browse for the profile name.

  3. Click OK.

    Upon completion of this operation, a profile is created and placed into the specified location. The user status is changed from Added to Active.
