Setup SSH User Permissions

To use the connector on a Solaris 10 or Windows or Linux host, set up the user permissions on the SSH server.

To set up SSH user permissions

  1. Put the directory containing the kadmin command in the PATH variable of the user. For example, /usr/sbin.
  2. Verify that the kadmin utility is executable by the SSH User.

    Set the appropriate ‘x’ permission for either u, g or the o flags.

    Note: By default, kadmin is installed with ugo+rx permissions.
