How to Create an ODBC Data Source For Use with CA SiteMinder

If CA Identity Manager integrates with CA SiteMinder, define an ODBC data source on the CA SiteMinder machine that points to the database. Note the name of the data source for later use. Proceed as follows:

• Windows: Configure the ODBC data source as a System DN. See your Windows operating system documentation for instructions.
• UNIX: Add an entry specifying the parameters for the ODBC data source in the system_odbc.ini file located in policy_server_installation/db.
