NDS Containers
NDS has several different container objects that can be used to organize NDS accounts and groups. Because some of these containers are optional, each NDS environment can be different. Whatever containers your environment uses, you can use the Endpoint Content dialog to view basic information about them. The following list describes all the possible NDS containers and the property sheets that are available in CA Identity Manager:
- Country-Optional container that designates the country where the network site is located. Use the Country property sheet to view information about the country.
- Locality-Optional object that designates a portion of the network. Use the Locality property sheet to view information about the locality.
- Organization-Mandatory object that organizes objects according to accounts and groups at a certain location. Use the Organization property sheet to view the organizations within an NDS endpoint.
- Organizational Unit-Optional object that organizes the account and groups objects into units. Use the Organizational Unit property sheet to view the organizational units within an organization.
Each of these objects is displayed in the list view as shown in the following table:
