Uninstall the UNIX Remote Agent

When you use LSM to install the UNIX Remote Agent, LSM uses reference counting.

Other CA products also use the CAM service, and LSM ensures that you cannot uninstall the service while other products still require it.

However, LSM does not work in the following situations:

• Reference counting does not work on Tru64 UNIX. On this platform, check carefully before uninstalling the UNIX Remote Agent or the CAM service.
• When you upgrade the UNIX Remote AgentLSM does not the reference counts of the packages on which the agent depends.

To uninstall using LSM, use the following command:

lsm -e product-name [-s]

-s

(Optional) Runs the uninstallation silently.

To uninstall using the shell script, use the following command:

[Installation Path]/scripts/uninstall.sh

For example:

/opt/CA/IdentityManager/ProvisioningUnixAgent/scripts/uninstall.sh
