When CA Directory r12.0 SP8 is the CA Identity Manager User Store, as distributed with CA Identity Manager r12.5 SP16, search results that include Group objects may be missing a warning. If the paging size (the pagesize attribute in the directory.xml) exceeds the CA Directory search limit (max-op-size configuration attribute), no warning appears. However, search results are valid. This issue will be addressed in a Service Pack release in the near future.
