DISPLAY OUTPUT STATUS Command

The DISPLAY OUTPUT STATUS command displays or edits the status of outputs in the output library.

This command has the following format:

               [OWN   ]
DISPLAY OUTPUT [ALL   ] STATUS
               [name  ]
               [number]

Operand Definitions

Operand

Description

OWN

(Optional) Displays the status of outputs under the user's identification. DISPLAY OUTPUT STATUS with no operands obtains the same display.

ALL

Displays the status of all outputs.

name

Displays the status of the output with the specified one‑ to eight‑character name. If the name is not unique, a warning message and a list of all outputs with that name appear.

number

Displays the status of the output with the specified one‑ to four‑digit number.

On the output status display, you can position the cursor on the line showing an output and type a command to perform one of the functions shown in the following table.

Alter disposition to Leave

Reissue print for output already assigned to system or network print
