Maintaining Parameter Values

You can add or delete a client parameter only if you have selected the Default object in the Client Parameters archive tree, and if the right-hand Client Parameters window is open.

Add a Client Parameter

To add a client parameter, right-click in the right-hand Client Parameters window, and select Edit, Parameter, Add, from the menu bar. You can also right-click anywhere in the right-hand Client Parameters window, and select Add Parameter from the context menu.

Delete a Client Parameter

To delete a client parameter, click the parameter in the right-hand Client Parameters window, and select Edit, Parameter, Delete from the menu bar. You can also right-click the parameter in the right-hand Client Parameters window, and select Delete Parameter from the context menu.

Edit a Client Parameter

You can edit a client parameter only in the following situations:

To edit a parameter or change a parameter value, click the relevant parameter in the right-hand Client Parameters window, and select Edit, Parameter, Edit from the menu bar. You can also right-click the relevant parameter in the right-hand Client Parameters window, and select Edit Parameter from the context menu.

Create a Parameter Product

To create a parameter product, select Edit, Parameter, Create Parameter Product from the menu bar, or right-click anywhere in the Client Parameters windows, and select Create Parameter Product from the context menu.

You create a parameter product when you are ready to package, register, and distribute the current parameter files.
