Edit Files

You can modify a file that is already contained in a component of the PIF package using the standard editor (as specified on the Packager Properties dialog).

To edit a file in the PIF package

1. Select the package on the project pane.
2. Select the component that contains the file to edit from the Components tab.
3. Select the file to edit on the File list in the work pane.
4. Right-click the file and select Edit from the context menu.

   The standard editor opens.

5. Edit the file contents.
6. Save the file changes.
7. Exit the editor to complete editing.
