Reason:
The DSM system tray applet may be set to be disabled.
Action:
Start the system tray applet by clicking on the Windows Start menu and selecting Programs/CA/IT Client Manager/DSM Properties. On the General tab of the DSM Properties dialog, enable the system tray by clearing the Hide icon from the system tray check box and clicking OK. An icon should appear in the system tray area of the taskbar.
