Reason:
The install script generates this error. The install script checks certain files to see if the Ingres installation is correctly configured. In this case, however, it has determined by examining the contents of either $II_SYSTEM/ingres/files/symbol.tbl or $II_SYSTEM/ingres/admin/machine_name/symbol.tbl (machine_name is the name of the system as indicated by the UNIX/Linux command uname -n) that although the Ingres files exist, they have never actually been installed.
Action:
If you wish to use the Ingres that exists in this directory, you must install it manually. See the Ingres documentation for details. If you wish to use the Ingres that is bundled, unset the II_SYSTEM environment variable (use the UNIX/Linux shell command unset II_SYSTEM) and rerun the script.
