Ensure that the Network Object Server and its Data Transport Service services are running.
Try pinging the Network Object Server.
Ensure that you are defined as an administrator for the Common Object Repository. If necessary, consult your Data Transport Service administrator.
After a machine has been added to the Common Object Repository by the DTS Self discovery, it is possible that in certain configurations the auto discovery will rename the underlying machine object. Perform a DTS auto discovery to bring the DTS DTAgent class back into sync with the machine that has been rediscovered by the auto discovery and retry the operation.
