This registration method should be selected, if you have created an administrative installation outside software delivery and you want to use it. During the registration, you have to point out the MSI-file using a UNC-path to an existing administrative installation. The local install procedures will not be registered when this registration type is used and, of course, the administrative install procedure will not be registered. However, the network install procedures will be registered this time.
Note: If you run the Administrative Install procedure from an agent, make sure that the running machine / user profile has write access to the MSLIB share.
