MSI Package Path

Enter the path to the MSI package or select it from the drop down list.

Select one or more of the following options:

Seal package: By checking the Seal package box, the package will be automatically sealed when registered.
This registration method should be selected, if upon registration you intend to send install orders, using the local install procedures, to the appropriate agents. These procedures are the only ones that can be used (to perform a local installation), until the Administrative installation procedure has been utilized.
Administrative installation: This registration method should be selected, if you have created an administrative installation outside CA ITCM and you want to use it.
Enable install from CD-ROM

Specify the following two fields:

CD Label: Provide a label for the CD.
CD Location MSI: In case the CD stores many programs, provide the path to the MSI file you want to register in the form Sub1\Sub2.
Do not store the package image: Check this box if you do not want to store the program files in the library (the Source folder will be empty), but only the necessary registration information from the .msi-file. Note that this check box is not available if you chose Use an administrative installation or Perform and use an administrative installation on the original dialog.
