You can select the logical operator that meets the requirements for the new query. Different operators are available for different information items.
Equal to. In text items, the search text must be equal to the text.
Not equal to. In text items, the search text must not be equal to the text.
Equal to or more than. In text items, the search text must be the first part of the text.
Equal to or less than. Only numeric and date items.
More than. Only numeric and date items.
Less than. Only numeric and date items.
Number of days older. This operator is applicable only on date fields. Specify an absolute number, for example, 5. This retrieves the objects where the operand is older than the specified number of days. For example, you can get all the computers created 5 days before by applying this operator on the Creation Date field of the computer.
Match expression. Used for free-text search. Using wildcard characters makes the LIKE operator more flexible than using the = operator.
The IN operator works on the string fields and matches the field to a set of attribute values returned by a directory search. Selecting the IN operator enables the Define button. Click Define to specify the filters and attributes you want to search in the Define Directory Search dialog.
