Before you start deploying the agents, you must have the CA ITCM manager installed. The target computer must be able to communicate with a manager.
The agent package that you are deploying must be available on the deployment manager or a scalability server. The installation process determines which agent packages are available. Extra packages may be added to the deployment library after installation using the dsmPush utility.
