Finding Errors

Symptom:

I am not sure where to look for errors.

Solution:

If an error is detected in an inventory file, the file has the extension .error appended to its filename. You can look into the application events console to determine what the error detected is.

Some examples of errors are:

• Badly formatted xml
• String values that are too long
• Integer values that contain strings
• Integer values that are outside set limits
