Delete a Location

CA APM lets you delete a location from the repository. For example, you have three research and development offices that are consolidating into one office. Therefore, you delete the two offices that are no longer operating.

Important! When you delete an object, you can no longer view the audit history for the object. We recommend that instead of deleting the object, you make the object inactive. That way, you can still view the audit history for the object.

To delete a location

1. Click Directory, Location.
2. Search to find a list of available locations.
3. Click the location you want to delete.
4. Click Delete and confirm you want to delete the location.

   The location is deleted.
