Delete a Configuration Record

CA APM lets you delete a configuration record. You cannot delete a link when you have a single link.

Important! When you delete an object, you can no longer view the audit history for the object. We recommend that instead of deleting the object, you make the object inactive. That way, you can still view the audit history for the object.

To delete a configuration record

  1. Click Model or Asset.
  2. Search to find the model or asset for which you want to delete the configuration record.
  3. Click the model or asset in the search results list.
  4. On the left, expand Configurations and click the appropriate configuration option. For example, click Asset Configuration or Model Configuration.
  5. Click the Mark for Deletion icon next to the configuration record.
  6. Click Save.

    The configuration record is deleted.
