Delete a Contact

CA APM lets you delete a contact from the repository. For example, the asset manager at a vendor with which you have a business relationship has retired. You have a new contact at the vendor, and you delete the previous asset manager as a contact.

Important! When you delete an object, you can no longer view the audit history for the object. We recommend that instead of deleting the object, you make the object inactive. That way, you can still view the audit history for the object.

To delete a contact

  1. Click Directory, Contact.
  2. Search to find a list of available contacts.
  3. Click the contact you want to delete.
  4. Click Delete and confirm you want to delete the contact.

    The contact is deleted.
