Define the Parts and Pricing for a Model

CA APM lets you define the parts and pricing details for a model to identify the individual component costs that comprise the total cost for a model. For example, you have a model named Dell Precision Workstation 410. You can define the parts and pricing for the internal drives, video connectors, USB connectors, SCSI port connectors, power supply, and so forth.

Note: You can view an audit history for this relationship.

To define the parts and pricing for a model

  1. Click Model.
  2. Search to find the list of available models.
  3. Click the model for which you want to define the parts and pricing.

    The model details appear. The parts and pricing details are available in the Parts and Pricing section.

  4. In the Parts and Pricing area of the page, click New and enter the parts and pricing details.
  5. Click Save.

    The parts and pricing details for the model are updated.
