In CA APM Release 11.3.4, the search return fields that a user can see are set in the Security feature by role. In Release 12.8, searches support an added level of security. You set the search return fields that a user can view in the search feature. When you save the configured search, you can apply security to the search by selecting specific user roles and configurations.
By default, the security for the searches you create makes them available only to the creator. You assign roles and configurations to your searches to grant access to the users who are assigned to those roles and configurations.

These changes cannot be migrated with the Migration Utility.
When you migrate Advanced Searches, you complete the following steps:
