After you install the product, if you are using Oracle as the database for the CA MDB, you can change the settings for the CA SAM Oracle database server.
The following fields require explanation:
The name of the server where the CA SAM database is installed.
The user name for connecting to the target database. The user name must be for a privileged user.
Default: sys
The user password for connecting to the target database.
The database connection port.
Default: 1521
The local net service name for the target database. The local net service name is usually configured using the Oracle Net Configuration Assistant.
Default: orcl
The default user that CA SAM uses to connect to the database.
