Product-Problem Matrix

Before contacting CA Support, attempt to define the product and, if applicable, the product component causing the problem. The following chart lists the products and product components that can be used by a specific transaction that can be the cause of problems with that transaction. If a component is not marked with an "X" for a specific transaction, that component is not used by the transaction and cannot be the cause of problems with that transaction.

For example, the chart shows that if you issue a DBOC transaction, either the [set the ddb variable for your book] or [assign the DCS variable value for your book] product can be the cause. The other components in the chart cannot be used by a DBOC transaction.

Also, if you have problems using a CA Ideal (IDEA) transaction, try using DBAC. If you have problems using DBAC, then [set the ddb variable for your book] or [assign the DCS variable value for your book] is likely to be causing the problem.

The codes used in the chart are as follows:

blank

Indicates that the product or component could not be used by the indicated transaction.

*

The IPCV and IPCX transactions will use [set the ddb variable for your book], [assign the DCS variable value for your book], and [assign the DDD variable value for your book] DSF only if the DD option is added to the SC00TRAN.

X

Indicates that the product or component could be used by the indicated transaction.

S

(Subsequent) Indicates that the product or component could be used AFTER the indicated transaction is issued.
