DELETE Function

The DELETE function deletes a named member from a VLS file. The DELETE statement has the following format:

►►─ DELETE ─ memname ─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────►◄

DELETE: Specifies the DELETE function.
memname: Specifies the qualified name of the member to delete. For instructions to format the member name, see HEX Function.

Example

To delete version 3 of a report called DELETEX in system $ID.
