You can secure specific chapters of any CA IDMS SASO document by:
Note: When creating an activity resource for CA IDMS SASO using IDMS internal or external security, the application name for the activity resource should be the CA IDMS SASO document name or dbname. These activity resources should be assigned to the user authorized to browse or update these activities.
Security checking is performed at CA IDMS SASO runtime. Task-level security is verified first, followed by document access authorizations. Chapter security is verified when the signed-on user attempts to browse a chapter or select a chapter for utility functions. The user is able to access only those chapters for which they have been granted access privileges in browse or update mode online.
