Maintenance Security

The only levels of security applicable to this option are TASK and DOCUMENT UPDATE. Therefore, if your company has implemented CA IDMS SASO task or document security, your CA IDMS/DC user ID used to sign on to the CV must have execution privileges for:

• Maintenance Option task resources contained in your catalog. For more information on CA IDMS SASO task security, see Operations.
• DOCUMENT UPDATE activity. For more information on document security, see Document Utilities Option.

Chapter update authority is implied with access into this function.
