Edit Security

Access to specific sections of a document is determined by your security authorization. If task, document, or chapter security has been implemented at your company, your CA IDMS/DC user ID used to sign on to the central version (CV) requires the following execution privileges for:

Edit option task category definitions contained in your catalog. For more information on task security, see Operations.
The activity resource assigned for the document Update function. For more information on document security, see Document Utilities Option.
Chapter Update activity resources. For more information on chapter security, see Document Utilities Option.
