Uses

CA IDMS DC/UCF system runtime reports summarize program activity against the database and runtime events. These reports help database administrators (DBAs) and system administrators:

Types of Runtime Reports

There are two types of system runtime reports:

Description

Chapter

JREPORTs

Document the contents of archived journal files; journal files record program activity against the database, such as the before and after images of updated database records.

CA IDMS/DB Journal Reports - JREPORTS

SREPORTs

Document statistics logged to the DDLDCLOG runtime area and off-loaded to the system log file. The statistics keep track of system runtime events, such as the number of times storage was requested within a certain time period.
