Reason:
A TESTCB macro issued to test the VSAM ACB for a successful open has indicated that the open was unsuccessful.
The absence of an IDCAMS VERIFY is commonly a cause of open failure, however other causes exist, and the ACB error field and R15 contents can be used to pinpoint the actual problem.
Using the VSAM ACB error field and the VSAM R15 contents supplied in message DC507905, refer to the appropriate VSAM manuals to determine the source of the problem under Return Codes from an Open.
