Reason:
A WRITE/CHECK operation returned a physical I/O error, causing the SYNAD routine to be entered. The device upon which the data set resides may have experienced a hardware error. Ensure that the console log shows no hardware problem with the device.
Error messages from RHDCBCTL will identify the file and provide further information. Examine the log for message DC507904 for the operating system-generated SYNAD message text. Rerun the job and, if possible, use a different device.
