Resynchronization terminated for <RMname> *<reason>
Reason:
This message indicates that resynchronization with the identified resource manager has been terminated for the specified reason.
The possible reasons and their meanings are:
- send/receive error: a communications error occurred. The identified resource manager may not be active.
- connect failed: resynchronization was unable to establish communications with the identified resource manager. It may not be active.
- cancelled by RM: the operation was cancelled by the identified resource manager. Examine its log to determine why.
- cancelled by operator: the operator responded DEFER to message DC329024. Refer to that message for more information.
- unable to update journal: an error occurred trying to update the journal with resource manager information. Examine the log file to determine exactly what error occurred.
- bad message type: an invalid resynchronization message was sent. This is an internal error.
- incorrect destination: a resynchronization message was sent to an incorrect node. This might be caused because the resource or node tables on the initiating system were altered before resynchronization was completed successfully.
- index error: an index error occurred attempting to locate the RM block. This is an internal error.
- unable to create RM: an error occurred while building the block that represents the RM. Examine the log to determine the nature of the error.
- invalid resync handle: a resynchronization message was sent containing an invalid handle for an in progress resynchronization. This is an internal error.
- transactions in progress: a CICS resynchronization request has failed because transactions are still active with the initiating CICS system. You must execute the resynchronization task when activity with the CICS system is quiesced.
