SUBTASK NUMBER <requested-subtask-number> IS NOT IN THE RANGE 001 THROUGH <maximum-subtask-number>

Reason:

The subtask number entered on a DCMT DISPLAY SUBTASK command must be in the range 1 through the maximum number enabled for the CA IDMS/DC system. Check the subtask number entered in the previous command and reenter the request. DCMT DISPLAY SUBTASKS gives useful information on all subtask numbers for the current CA IDMS/DC system.

CPU effectiveness <CPU-ratio> for this interval is inadequate.

Reason:

The CPU effectiveness of the CA IDMS system <node-name> is the ratio of CPU received to the elapsed time that CPU was required. This provides an indication of the amount of time that CA IDMS was forced into an involuntary wait for CPU resources. Low values of CPU effectiveness indicate serious performance degradation and are often also observed as significant response time increases for whatever TP monitor is being used. This number should usually be in excess of 90% which means that CA IDMS was reliably provided with at least 90% of the CPU that was required for performing the tasks that were assigned to it.

This message is produced through the IBM Health Checker facility. For more information about health checks related to CA IDMS, see the CA IDMS System Operations Guide.
