Warning - <number of area entries in JHDAs> area entries in journal header nearing max of <total entries>

Reason:

This is a warning message that is displayed when the number of available JHDA area entries drops below 10%. The message is issued upon startup after the JHDA(s) have been populated.

The message identifies the number of used area entries and the number of total entries.

Refer to the MAX AREA option of the FORMAT JOURNAL command for details on specifying the number of area entries defined for a journal.
